Louisa Confetti Tumbler, Blue - Set of 4

Hand-blown set of 4 Louisa Confetti Tumbler in Mallorca from clear glass rolled across fragments of cobalt — each blue piece fused into the surface at 1100 degrees by a Balearic glassblower working a technique the Moorish craftsmen carried across the Mediterranean in the tenth century. JJ fills these with water at the lunch table, where the afternoon light turns the cobalt fragments the precise shade of the Mediterranean in September. She has never found a more persuasive argument for a long lunch.
