Obverse legend: VRBANVS·VIII·PONT·MAX·AN·VIII
Engraver signature: “GAS·MOL·” (Gaspare Mola).
Reverse: Pope Urban VIII kneeling before the Archangel Michael, who hovers in clouds holding scales and a sword, symbolizing divine justice and protection. The papal tiara and keys lie on the ground beside the pope.
Reverse legend: TE·MANETE·VESPERE
