Nupe Stool - This is a large fabulous Hand Carved Wood Stool from the Nupe People of Nigeria. These stools are hand carved from of a single piece of wood with an intricate patterns and colors. The Nupe people live along the banks of the Niger river.
Traditionally these beautiful stools are used as prestige objects on market days during important meetings.

This one is similar to Senufo stools but have patterns carved into the top

colour available: dark stain
