This postcard captures the dramatic cliffs of Cap Fréhel, located on the northern coast of Brittany, France.
Cap Fréhel is one of the most spectacular natural sites in Brittany, formed by pink sandstone and rising over 70 meters above the sea. The headland has long served as a strategic lookout and navigational point. The current lighthouse, visible in the image, was constructed in 1950 to replace the one destroyed during World War II, though earlier versions date back to the 17th century.
The back features the classic divided postcard format with space for both correspondence and address.
Front Text: "2. CAP FRÉHEL. – Le Cap – LL."
