The denomination "$5" is printed in all four corners, and "FIVE DOLLARS" is written in the center. Serial number "BV146032" is printed twice in black. The note is dated 1.7.91 and issued under the Bank of Jamaica Act.
Reverse: Depicts the Old Parliament Building (1872–1960) in Kingston, an important symbol of Jamaica’s political history. The denomination "$5" is shown in each corner, and "FIVE DOLLARS" is written at the bottom. The issuing authority "BANK OF JAMAICA" is displayed across the top.
