The denomination "100" is displayed in the corners, and the Greek text "ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ" (Bank of Greece) and "ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ ΕΚΑΤΟΝ" (One Hundred Drachmai) are inscribed. Serial number "44P 033420" is printed twice in black.
Reverse: Displays a portrait of Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first head of state of independent Greece, on the left. On the right, the famous Monastery of Arkadi in Crete is depicted. Ornamental guilloche patterns and the denomination "100" frame the design.
