This postcard showcases the Cour d'Honneur (Court of Honor) of the Palais de la Bahia in Marrakech, Morocco. Built under the supervision of Si Moussa, a grand vizier of Sultan Hassan I, the palace was designed to showcase wealth and power, incorporating traditional Andalusian and Moorish elements.
The Bahia Palace, which means "Brilliance," was intended to be the most magnificent palace of its time. Its meticulously designed courtyards, gardens, and private chambers make it one of the most iconic landmarks in Marrakech.
The reverse side is blank, specially marked as edited for the "Transatlantique Hotels."
