This postcard features the grand entrance to the Palace of Madagascar at the Exposition Coloniale Internationale held in Paris in 1931. Designed by architect Gabriel Veissière, the entrance is adorned with intricate carvings on the tower and complemented by statues and landscaped gardens, representing Malagasy culture and artistry.
The reverse side is blank, without handwriting, stamps, or postmarks. It is marked “Braun & Cie, Paris – France,” a prominent publisher of the era.
