Abraham Hulk (British-Dutch, 1813 - 1897), attr.to - Sailing in the sea

Classical seascape with sailing boats in the sea was executed around 1840-1850s and due to the fully identical style, composition and time of creation was attributed to the hand of British-Dutch marine painter, drawer and lithograph Abraham Hulk Senior (London 1813 - 1897 Zevenaar).

Inscription: inscribed lower right: A.Hulk ft (fecit).

Technique: oil on canvas. Original period gold-plated frame.

Measurements: unframed w 16 1/8" x h 10 1/8" (41 x 27 cm), framed w 23" x h 17 1/2" (58,5 x 44,5 cm).
