THE Beeswax Bag | Winter Meadow

WINTER MEADOW — HANDMADE BEESWAX BREAD BAG

A beautiful beeswax bread bag for storing the bread you’ve taken the time to choose, bake or make.

Winter Meadow is part of the Lou-bees seasonal collection — a rich golden botanical print finished with contrasting black stitching for a traditional, slightly nostalgic feel.

Each handmade bread bag is coated with our carefully developed beeswax blend, creating reusable bread storage designed to help maintain a softer bread texture while reducing the need for disposable plastic.

Ideal as a sourdough bag or for storing artisan loaves, the flexible beeswax coating helps slow moisture loss while allowing the bag to be moulded and folded around your bread.

Choose your size

Medium – 14 x 11”
Perfect for smaller sourdough loaves, rolls, pastries and half loaves.

Large – 18 x 14”
Ideal for larger sourdough, artisan loaves and family-sized bread.

Why choose a Lou-bees Beeswax Bag?

• Handmade in small batches
• Reusable bread storage alternative to disposable bags
• Designed especially for sourdough and artisan bread
• Helps maintain a softer bread texture
• Naturally mouldable — simply fold the bag around your loaf
• Easy to wipe or wash in cool water
• Re-waxable and designed to be used again and again
• Beautiful enough to leave out in your kitchen

Please note: Bread behaves differently depending on the type of loaf, its moisture content and the temperature and humidity of your home. We don’t promise a set number of days of freshness — instead, our beeswax bags are designed for people who prefer their bread softer rather than crisp and dry.

Care

Wash gently in cool water with a little mild washing-up liquid when required. Allow to air dry naturally.

Do not use hot water, a dishwasher, microwave or washing machine, as heat will melt the beeswax coating.

With use, your bag will naturally crease and soften — that’s part of the character of a reusable beeswax product.
