The text reads “BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERÚ” and “CINCO MIL SOLES DE ORO.” Serial number “A 2773950 G” is printed twice in black. Date of issue: 1 de Febrero de 1979.
Reverse: Depicts miners working inside a mine, symbolizing Peru’s rich natural resources and mining industry. The denomination “5000” is printed multiple times across the design.
