Pale Oak Tall Cupboard with Drawers

A tall French antique oak cupboard with two useful drawers above a single-door cupboard, offering plenty of storage without taking up too much floor space. We’ve had the original finish carefully sandblasted to reveal the lovely pale oak beneath, before sealing the whole piece with a clear wax to protect the timber while keeping its natural colour. The original metal handles, key and long decorative hinge have all been retained. Inside is an adjustable wooden shelf using a traditional system of removable bars that slot into grooves at different heights. Its tall, narrow proportions make this a particularly useful piece for smaller spaces, whether tucked into an alcove, used for towels and toiletries in a bathroom or providing extra storage in a hallway.
