This double album showcases Janis Joplin’s astonishing concert at the Fillmore East, in New York, on 12 February 1969, in its entirety.

During the early months of 1969 Janis Joplin and the Kozmic Blues Band performed a number of one-off shows in the United States, including two nights at the Fillmore East on the 11th and 12th of February. Supported by the Grateful Dead, the second of these legendary gigs was recorded for live radio broadcast and transmitted along the East Coast.

One of the finest ever gigs Janis and the Kozmics ever performed, this set includes classics such as Piece of My Heart, Summertime, Ball and Chain and many more.
