Obverse: Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara at right. To the left, an image of the Government House cupola. Coat of arms of Belize also featured. Lettering: “CENTRAL BANK OF BELIZE” – “TEN DOLLARS – LEGAL TENDER FOR THE PAYMENT IN BELIZE OF ANY AMOUNT.” Serial number “AA764345” appears twice in red ink.
Reverse: Depicts historic buildings of Belize, including Government House (c.1910), the Court House (c.1910), and St. John’s Cathedral (c.1810). Also shows native flora and fauna on the left panel. Lettering: “CENTRAL BANK OF BELIZE” – “TEN DOLLARS.”
