This postcard captures a significant religious gathering at the El-Alou Cemetery in Rabat, Morocco, during a Muslim festival. The image shows large groups of people, dressed in traditional attire, seated across the cemetery, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The cemetery, located near Rabat’s Kasbah of the Udayas, has long been an important burial site, serving the city's historical families and religious leaders. 
The reverse side is unused, showing the standard correspondence and address fields, and it was produced by "Auto-Circuits Nord-Africains de la Cie Gle Transatlantique," a French company that facilitated travel between France and its colonies.
