French Round Drop Leaf Kitchen Table

A lovely old French round drop leaf table, ideal for a smaller kitchen, breakfast area or anywhere space is at a premium. The solid Cherry wood top has been stripped of its previous finish and given a natural wax, revealing the wonderfully warm tones. The turned and fluted base has been freshly painted in a distressed French grey, with small brass castors added to bring the table up to a modern dining height. Two generous leaves fold independently and are held in place by simple pull-out wooden supports underneath, allowing you to use it as a full round dining table, with just one side raised, or folded down when you need the floor space back.
