NYX - Shedding Beauty – Geisha Metamorphosis in Porcelain

In this creation imbued with visual poetry, a woman transforms before our eyes: her white and blue porcelain skin cracks, detaches, and rises in swirls, revealing her real face—gentle, vibrant, alive.

Inspired by the aesthetic codes of traditional Chinese porcelain, this work questions the idea of identity, fixed beauty, and inner rebirth. The classic floral motifs, blue on a white background, fade away in a subtle movement, as if carried away by the wind.

A sophisticated play of light highlights each transition of matter, creating a striking hyper-realistic illusion.
