This World War I photo captures a Paul von Hindenburg and group of German officers, standing outside a military headquarters or administrative building. The Paul von Hindenburg at the far right is seen stepping into or out of a horse-drawn carriage.

The reverse side of the postcard is blank, with standard lines for correspondence and address, but no writing or postmarks are present. Two dark patches of adhesive residue in the corners suggest it may have been mounted in an album at some point.
