This historical postcard showcases a stunning early 20th-century view of the Eiffel Tower, one of the world’s most recognizable landmarks. 
The Eiffel Tower, designed by Gustave Eiffel, was constructed for the 1889 Exposition Universelle (World’s Fair) held in Paris to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. At 330 meters (1,083 feet) tall, it was the tallest structure in the world at the time and remained so until the Chrysler Building surpassed it in 1930.
The reverse side follows the classic "CARTE POSTALE" format.
