Vintage Silver Brooch Marcasite Bow

The brooch is designed as a bow, studded throughout the front with marcasite stones. The brooch is formed from silver, signed SILVER for sterling silver to the back of the brooch.
The mineral marcasite, sometimes called white iron pyrite, is iron sulfide with orthorhombic crystal structure. It is physically and crystallographically distinct from pyrite, which is iron sulfide with cubic crystal structure.
