Obverse: Features the Bank of Sudan emblem in the center, along with Arabic inscriptions. To the left is the University of Khartoum building, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Africa. The denomination "100" is displayed in both Arabic and Western numerals. Serial number "H/64 102493" is printed in black. The note is dated March 1989 / 1409 AH.
Reverse: Depicts the Central Post Office building in Khartoum, symbolizing Sudan’s infrastructure and communication system. The text "BANK OF SUDAN" and "ONE HUNDRED SUDANESE POUNDS" is inscribed in English, with additional decorative Islamic geometric patterns and motifs.
