Sex Pistols – Ever Get the Feeling You’ve Been Cheated?: Winterland, 1978 (Limited Edition 12-Inch Album on Transparent Teal Vinyl)
This release is limited to 300 copies.
“Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?”, asked a weary Johnny Rotten at the conclusion of the Sex Pistols’ only U.S. tour.
The show took place on 14 January 1978, at the one-time hippie haven of the Winterland Ballroom, in San Francisco, and would be the Sex Pistols’ final performance – at least until their 1996 reunion.
This album showcases the band’s infamous set in its entirety, and features incendiary renditions of classics such as God Save the Queen, Anarchy in the U.K. (sung as “Anarchy in the U.S.A.” during the performance), Bodies, Holidays in the Sun, Pretty Vacant, No Feelings, Problems and many more.
