Crowned eagle., Potent cross., Extremely rare coin, almost impossible to find in sales. Unfortunately damaged by diagonal mark across the entire flan. Issued by Frederick of Hohenstaufen (Federico II di Svevia), who ruled the Kingdom of Sicily as Frederick I of Sicily, but was also known as Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor. Probably struck after 1220 and his accession to the imperial throne.
