THE William Morris Heritage Cotton Bread Bag | Golden Lily

Meet THE Heritage Cotton Bread Bag — a beautifully simple, traditional way to store your bread.

Large 44cm x 36cm

Made from high-quality, 100% pure cotton in the William Morris Golden Lily design, this isn’t a thin, lightweight cotton bread sack. I’ve chosen a slightly heavier quality cotton that gives the bag a beautiful feel and structure, while still allowing bread to breathe naturally.

WHY COTTON?

There isn’t one perfect way to store bread — because we don’t all like our bread the same way.

A cotton bread bag creates a breathable environment, making it a lovely choice for sourdough, artisan loaves and crusty breads when you prefer to retain more of that characteristic crust rather than creating the softer environment of a beeswax bag.

That’s why cotton is part of the Lou-bees bread storage collection: it’s about choosing how YOU like to eat your bread.

BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE

Made from a single layer of premium-quality pure cotton, there’s no unnecessary lining to interfere with the natural breathability of the fabric.

The generous size accommodates larger homemade and artisan loaves, while the long black cotton tie wraps around the gathered bag to close it securely.

Finished with contrasting black edging and the Lou-bees bee label, every detail has been chosen to give this traditional bread bag a distinctive, contemporary finish.
