Ein Chocho- oder Gorfa-Milchkrug wird in traditioneller äthiopischer Handarbeit aus gewebten Sisalfasern und Aluminiumdraht gefertigt und mit Bienenwachs wasserdicht versiegelt. Ein attraktives, birnenförmiges Kunstobjekt, das sich perfekt als Blickfang in jeder Inneneinrichtung eignet.

Der leichte Rauchduft rührt daher, dass die Chocho einer zeremoniellen Reinigung unterzogen werden muss, bei der glühende Kohlen in das Innere eingeführt werden, damit das Bienenwachs die Fasern besser durchdringen kann.
