Blackpool

Blackpool is a wonderfully nostalgic seaside resort and is well known for its famous Blackpool Tower which was built in 1894.

"The Tower is an iconic landmark which I really wanted to accentuate, Blackpool has a real charm and I wanted the colours in the artwork to almost be like an ice-cream parlour emulating the nostalgic charm of this famous seaside town. Loved for its long promenade, Victorian Piers, vintage Ballroom where dancers twirl to the music of a Wurlitzer organ."

This traditional seaside town hosts the Pleasure Beach and the Illuminations is the annual light show along the Promenade and many people flock to see this year after year.  This wonderful vintage seaside town captures a very British seaside feel and holds happy memories for many, you can almost hear the ring and tune of "Oh I Do Like to be beside the seaside" and all the settlements and happy feelings which roll along with it!
