1985 Peru 50 Intis Banknote
Obverse: Bears the heading “BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERU” at the top. At right is a portrait of a mustached man in formal attire. The national coat of arms appears at the center above the denomination text “CINCUENTA INTIS”. Serial numbers are printed on the left and right. The issue date “3 DE ABRIL DE 1985” is shown at lower left. Official signatures of the Director, Presidente, and Gerente General are visible, along with detailed line engraving and security patterns.
Reverse: Displays an industrial scene with workers operating heavy machinery, including a drilling installation and oil infrastructure. The inscription “BANCO CENTRAL DE RESERVA DEL PERU” appears at the top. The denomination “CINCUENTA INTIS” is printed at lower left, with the numeral “50” shown at the corners. Fine engraved patterns and background detailing cover the entire design.
