This postcard presents the imposing façade of the Nueva Plaza de Toros (New Bullring) in Barcelona, a grand example of early 20th-century civic architecture. 
The Nueva Plaza de Toros, later known as Arenas de Barcelona, was inaugurated in June 1900. The bullring was constructed in a Neo-Mudéjar style, divided across three levels and designed to accommodate up to 20,000 spectators. According to the printed description on the back of the card, it measured 97 meters in diameter, with 52 meters for the ring itself, and included stables for 65 horses and medical facilities. While originally intended for bullfighting, the arena later became a site for concerts, political events, and public gatherings.
