1955 Mongolia 1 Tögrög Banknote

Obverse: Features a portrait of Damdin Sükhbaatar, the Mongolian revolutionary hero, on the right side. To the left is the State Emblem of the Mongolian People’s Republic, showing a horseman holding a banner beneath a rising sun and star. The denomination “1” is displayed in all four corners. Mongolian script and inscriptions appear in the center, including the issuing authority УЛСЫН БАНК (State Bank). Serial number “990343 АД” is printed in red on both sides.
Obverse lettering: Бүгд Найрамдах Монгол Ард Улс (Mongolian People’s Republic), УЛСЫН БАНК (State Bank), НЭГ ТӨГРӨГ (One Tögrög), 1955.
Reverse: The denomination “1 Tögrög” is repeated within decorative medallions on either side. The center text contains a warning against counterfeiting, along with the year of issue “1955.”
