1925 Austria 5 Schilling Banknote

Obverse: Shows the text “Fünf Schillinge” at the top with the issue line “Wien, am 2. Jänner 1925.” The issuing authority “Österreichische Nationalbank” appears beneath. At the left is the Austrian coat of arms with the double-headed eagle. At the right is a portrait of a young man inside an ornate octagonal frame. The denomination “5” is repeated in decorative panels on both sides. Finely engraved geometric and floral patterns fill the background, along with official printed signatures.
Reverse: Features an intricate symmetrical ornamental design occupying the full note, composed of dense linework, geometric forms, and decorative flourishes. The denomination “5” appears within ornate shields at the left and right. Serial numbers are printed in red at the lower left and right. The entire reverse is constructed from overlapping guilloche elements that form a complex decorative composition.
